In order to observe national mourning in honor of the deceased who lost their lives during the demonstration organized by the Gen-Z on Bhadra 23 and 24, 2082 B.S., the Government of Nepal has decided that all government offices across Nepal, as well as Nepali embassies and missions abroad, will remain closed and the national flag will be flown at half-mast on 1st Ashwin 2082 B.S. (corresponding to 17th September 2025). Accordingly, this Consulate General will also remain closed tomorrow, Wednesday, 17th September 2025.
Furthermore, applicants who had filled out the pre-enrollment form for passport services scheduled for 17th September 2025 are informed that they may visit the Consulate General on any day from Sunday to Friday next week between 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at their convenience to receive the service.
